Tanzania

This trip was my wife’s idea, to celebrate my joining the ranks of the semi-retired by doing a bit of nature photography. As is always the case when traveIing, I learned a few things. Among them, that no amount of David Attenborough prepares you for the experience of the African savannah. Also—as I imagined—that nature photography is pretty damn cool. And that it helps to have an expense account to do it properly.

But even without one, the images are all around you.
